About the Speaker

Anirban Basu is the Chairman & CEO of Sage Policy Group, Inc., a Baltimore-based economic and policy consultancy. Recognized as one of Maryland’s most influential leaders, he has served as Chief Economist for various national organizations and currently lectures at Goucher College as their Distinguished Economist in Residence.

Dr. Basu holds degrees from Georgetown University, Harvard University, the University of Maryland, and the University of Maryland School of Law. He has been praised for his ability to make economic discussions engaging and insightful.
